Violent Shadows: A New Kind of Story
The idea for Violent Shadows began with a simmer (ViolentShadows) on TheSims2.com, who wrote several short stories. However, the sims website did not feel like the right place to host her creations. So ViolentShadows became JustPlainAud, a YouTuber who quickly gained small fame with her Sims 2 music videos, especially "Nobody's Home", which recieved almost 6,000 views before it was removed due to a copyright claim.
JustPlainAud grew tired of having some of her best works removed off of YouTube, so she created JustPlainAud Productions, a weebly.com website for showcasing her videos.
But JustPlainAud felt that she was missing something in her simming career. She missed using Sims 2 to illustrate her stories. And so she turned back to her old Sims 2 page, and Violent Shadows (the website) was born.
